Gilbert Plains - Grandview Ag Society

  July 20th, 21st & 22nd, 2018

You are invited to participate in the Gilbert Plains-Grandview Ag Society rodeo and chuck wagon/chariot races from July 21-23, 2017.

We recognize chuck wagon racing is a very expensive sport to take part in, so our races are set up to make sure you have a paycheck at the end of the rodeo.

If you take part in all three days of our show and race both a chuck and chariot and finish last in every race, you will still take home $190.00 in prize money, plus $100.00 in sponsorship. That’s a total of $290.00!

If you have a great weekend and win every race as well as register the top time of the weekend, you will take home a paycheck that would amount to $525.00 in prize money, as well as $100.00 in sponsorship, plus $500.00 for the top time. This totals out to $1125.00!

There is no entry fee to enter the races, however every person who enters the fairgrounds is expected to purchase and wear a wrist band at a cost of $25.00.

We will be having a “Party in the Dirt” on Saturday night, and it is our hope that racers will attend as we expect it to be a great party. We know we cannot have a great weekend without the racers, but we also feel that you need to realize a return for your efforts.

The races will be limited to 15 chuck wagons and 15 chariots. Please contact chairman Jack Bremner at 204-638-7268 or by email at [email protected] for any questions!
